The International Conference of Sport Science (ICSSCC)

 "Challenge of Change" aims to bring together leading scientists, scholars, researchers, experts and leaders from around the world to share ideas, knowledge, expertise, and research results in spots and physical education sciences, it focuses on current issues on various fields of sports and physical education including themes in fitness, tourism, recreation, sports physiology, psychosocial, technology, management, environment, marketing, aging, learning, training.

It will provide a venue for discussion and collaboration ideas between and among professionals in meeting the challenges and opportunities for more responsive and relevant sports and physical education programs and activities around the worldwide.

All submitted articles should report original, previously unpublished research results, experimental or theoretical, and will be peer-reviewed. Articles submitted to the conference should meet these criteria and must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere. Manuscripts should follow the style of the journal and are subject to both reviewing and editing.

Publication

All accepted full papers will be published in the conference proceeding, but only if at least one author is officially registered as a presenter.

Conference Venue

Faculty of Physical Education and King Abdullah II School for Information Technology at The University of Jordan.

Transportation

There are 24 hours buses and taxies in the Airport that you can take from and to the Hotel.

Oral and Poster Presentation

Please let us know the type of your participation: 

a.    Oral presentation         

b.    Poster Presentation    

 

Those who will be qualified for oral presentations must prepare their power points materials in advance. The overall time slot for each presentation will be 20 minutes. please plan your speech for duration of 15 minutes to allow time for questions and discussion.

All posters should have a maximum size of 36in. x 60 in. (91.4cm x 152. 4cm), presenters are required to bring it with them.

 

Abstract shall have a maximum of 500 words, while full paper length should be about 15 pages (APA style).

Registration Fee Includes: 3 nights Hotel accommodation with breakfast, lunch, coffee Breaks, snacks, Dinner, conference proceedings, conference publication, conference bag, certificate of participation.

Note:          Above Fee includes Double Room Occupancy for 3 nights; Starting from March 18, 2014 to 12:00 noon March 21; additional $60 usd (in total for 3 nights) for Single Room Occupancy.

 

How To Pay The Registration Fees:

Payment for Registration will be made in the first day of the conference.

 

Visa Requirements

All participants are required to have a valid passport to enter Jordan. Citizens of some countries may obtain visa through Jordan embassies before arrival, and some others may obtain it at the airport upon arrival. For further information please contact the nearest Jordan Embassy or Consulate in your country to check the visa regulations.

 

Insurance
          The registration fees do not include the insurance of participants against personal accidents, sickness, theft, loss or damage to personal possessions. Participants are requested to make their own arrangements in respect of health and travel insurance.

 

Conference Program

The program of the conference will be available on the website of the conference before 10 march 2014.

$75.00 usa – includes transportation, tour dead sea, Petra, lunch (Shawerma

mail with soft drink), Petra entrance fee is not included.

Departure from Amman     -           8:00 a.m.

Return Trip to Amman        -           7:00 p.m.

Airport:
          Queen Alia International Airport is located thirty-five kilometers south Amman with all expected services including an Airport Hotel.

Credit Cards
          Most major credit cards are accepted in hotels, restaurants and stores but visitors are always advised to check with the vendor before a purchase is made. Cash machines with 24-hour access are available in many convenient locations.
Climate
The climate of Amman is mild to cold. Good weather and sunshine is the predominant weather during march with temperatures ranging between 15°C / 20°C during the day and 10°C / 12°C at night.

Time Zones
Jordan is three hours ahead of Greenwich Mean Time.
