Specifications of the academic program for the Bachelor of Movement Scieences and Sports Training
The Department of Movement Science and Sports Training at the School of Sport Science at the University of Jordan was established in 1995 after the restructuring of the departments that were previously known as theoretical and scientific
departments. The department was introduced in 2020 as part of the college’s efforts to update names, restructure departments, and launch new programs.
The department includes a group of highly experienced faculty members in various
sports fields, totaling 17 members:
- 12 Professors
- 1 Associate Professor
- 2 Full-time Lecturers holding PhDs
- 2 Full-time Lecturers holding master’s degrees
The department offers three academic programs:
- Bachelors in Movement Science and Sports Training
- Masters in Movement Science and Sports Training
