The College of Sports Sciences at the University of Jordan, in cooperation with the Olympic Preparation Center and the Jordanian Olympic Committee, organized a symposium entitled (Nutrition among Athletes). At the beginning of the symposium, Dr. Hassan Al-Saud, Dean of the College of Sports Sciences at the University of Jordan, spoke about the benefits of nutrition for athletes and its relationship to athletic achievement, and then the Deputy Dean, Dr. Ibrahim, spoke. Al-Dabaiba expressed the importance of this symposium for college students.
The symposium lecturer, Dr. Mahmoud Al-Khatib, presented the symposium to begin the symposium, in which he provided valuable and specialized information in the field of specialization that would benefit all athletes, whether coaches, players, or nutritionists, to reach athletic achievement. The symposium was held in two stages, the first stage was for bachelor's students and the second stage was for postgraduate students.
This symposium was attended by the Head of the Physical Education Department, Dr. Hassan Al-Oran, the Head of the Movement Sciences Department, Dr. Khitam Ay, and a group of faculty members at the college, Dr. Walid Al-Hamouri, Dr. Louay Al-Shawabkeh, Ihab Al-Qaddumi, and Haitham Abu Al-Rub.
In conclusion, the Dr. Dean of the College thanked the lecturer for the valuable information and hoped that there would be ongoing seminars and courses on these topics between the College and the Olympic Preparation Center.
