In cooperation with the Women's Sports Club, the Faculty of Sport Sciences at the University of Jordan organized an event titled "You Are the Most Precious." The event saw widespread participation from male and female students from the Faculty of Sport Sciences, members of the club's board of directors, members of the "Heritage and Civilization" initiative, and several women from the local community.
Dean of the College of Sports Sciences, Dr. Hassan Al-Saud, said the college is committed to supporting the local community, strengthening partnerships, and supporting meaningful initiatives. He also expressed the college's full support for the Women's Club and Jordanian women's issues.
For her part, Dr. Nihad Al-Battikhi, President of the Women's Club, spoke about the importance of the club's role in providing services to women in society, and its constant commitment to participating in various events. She emphasized the importance of balancing the health of women's bodies, minds, and spirits, as they are the key to the happiness of families and society.
The event included awareness lectures on the importance of nutrition for women, delivered by specialist Farah Al-Gharaibeh. This was followed by a lecture by Dr. Basma Jaber, which focused on the importance of exercising at all stages of a woman's life and the dangers of stopping it. International trainer Sajida Naimat also gave a lecture titled "Sports for Women: Between Work and Home," in which she addressed the challenges women face in balancing their professional and sports lives.
The event featured sports competitions and challenges, in addition to interactive fitness classes for attendees. The event concluded with an invitation to attendees to undergo free medical checkups to ensure their health. Commemorative gifts were distributed to participants, and certificates of appreciation were presented to supporters and participants. The club president extended special thanks to Dr. Fatima Khreisat, head of the Cultural Committee and member of the Board of Directors, in appreciation of her efforts in organizing and ensuring the success of the event.
