University of Jordan Explores Cooperation with Jordan Police Sports Federation

The School of Sport Sciences at the University of Jordan (UJ) welcomed Secretary General of the Jordan Police Sports Federation Colonel Mohammad Humaidat, a proud graduate of the School, for an official visit aimed at expanding cooperation in sports training and professional development.

Dean of the School Prof. Aida Al-Awamleh emphasized that strengthening partnerships with national institutions reinforces the School’s academic mission and enriches the learning environment for students. The meeting included an overview of the School’s development plans, including upgrades to sports facilities, curriculum enhancements aligned with labour market needs, and efforts to build strategic collaborations with institutions in the sports and security sectors.

The visit brought together several senior academic leaders, including Vice Dean for Graduate Studies Prof. Mohammad Hindawi, Vice Dean for Quality and Rankings Prof. Manal Al-Bayyat, Prof. Khitam Ay, and Prof. Waleed Al-Hammouri, in addition to Dr. Fatima Al-Khraisat and Dr. Loai Al-Shawabkeh. Their participation reflected the School’s unified approach to advancing institutional partnerships.

Humaidat toured classrooms, laboratories, and training facilities, where he was briefed on recent infrastructure upgrades. He praised the School’s progress, expressed pride in being one of its graduates, and affirmed the Federation’s readiness to support future initiatives that strengthen sports education at the University.
